Very friendly, warm welcome, the food was excellent and very good value. We stayed just the one night and the room was good.
Reasonable pub food when it arrived. However had to wait nearly 2 hours. We were not informed on ordering that there was a delay & at no point did anyone come to apologise or offer us free nibbles or drink on the house so unfortunately for such poor customer service we've only rated the venue with 1 star
Good value food and drink, I feel comfortable eating there alone, bar staff have always been very friendly. Menu has a lot of choice, and food usually comes out very quickly.
Nice pud, good food, variable service. The staff are polite and helpful, but they often seem massively over stretched like there's never quite enough staff on duty...Once, when there with a larger party (10 of us) we had to wait nearly an hour for puddings, and we even got up to remind them/chase a couple of times. Other times its been speedy.The outside area is great for children, but not so much for wasps, or people vaping.
Looking at some reviews over the past few weeks I was unsure whether to go here. I was pleasantly surprised on the experience we had as a family. Food was good for the price and the service was great. We had a very friendly service from Austin. He told us about the problems they had over last few weeks with the kitchens. He was very polite and helpful. Will definitely go back as a family soon.
