Charlotte recently supported us with the funeral of our Mum. We had some very specific requirements from Mum and the family and she helped to make sure these happened. Everything ran smoothly on the day and afterwards. Thank you.
I highly recommend Charlotte, her personal attention to every detail, professional and advice were second to none.
From the first meeting with Charlotte to the funeral of my father all the staff were so professional and understanding and made a difficult day run smoothly
Avoid. Terrible experience. No compassion. No sympathy.Myself and my family were treated so badly we had to change funeral directors. My dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He had left us a funeral plan which tied us to Charlotte Graham. From the minute I picked up the phone to arrange for dad to be collected we received really bad service. It took several attempts to get the gentleman who answered the phone to get the correct address after I repeated myself numerous times. I was told theyd be an hour to hour and a half. Try four hours later. They turned up in an estate car to collect my dad. My brother had to help bring my dad down the stairs as the two men didnt seem to have a clue. No dignity there at all either. Charlotte Graham seemed more keen on collecting the details on the insurance policy than giving me any details on what I needed to do. This was the first time Ive ever had to deal with arranging a funeral. I was clueless. I needed guidance and I received none. To add insult to injury when I rang to speak to someone I spoke to Charlotte Grahams daughter who happened to answer the phone, only to be told that she had no idea who my dad was and she couldnt find any details of him. I moved funeral directors after that as my dad deserved better treatment than that. So to add to the trauma myself and my family had already gone through Charlotte Graham held my dads body and policy hostage until I paid her for services rendered. I totally understood that she had done some work and needed paying but when the new funeral director was offering to pay her and invoice me they were still refused my dads body. Three attempts were made to collect his body and in the end the new funeral director had to sit at Charlotte Grahams gate until they agreed to take the cheque offered and release my dad to them. I then had to get the company to get the policy of her too. I can safely say it was the singularly most traumatic experience Ive encountered so far. No one should have to suffer that when theyve just lost a loved one.
Charlotte is most caring and friendly, very different and much better than you expect to find at a difficult time, she will deal with you for every part of your arrangements and really feels like she is part of the family, you and your loved ones will be very well looked after, cannot recommend highly enough.
